Group Music Classes
Not your typical experience...
From the moment the students step in the studio, the positive vibe surrounds them. This is the place they can be themselves and explore what they love. This is the place they can laugh and learn at the same time. This is a place where new friendships are formed in music classes that inspire creativity and a life-long passion.
The Singing Club
Ages 5-8 years
(must be in Kindergarten and up)
The Singing Club is a music and singing class for children in Kindergarten through 3rd grade. We sing, play music games, learn a lot of foundational music activities that will help students in ANY area of music!
Kids are often wanting to sing and use their voice, but are not quite ready for a private lesson. And often, social learning is a better fit for some students -- it takes away nerves and anxiety, allowing students to focus on the fun of music! Kids can find confidence and are supported by their peers, and voices can be nurtured through healthy singing.
Enrollment is ongoing and you can join at any time, with any ability level. Please plan on enrolling for a minimum of 2 months in order to allow the group to develop positive relationships that support our "club" feeling!
Please note: teachers will be wearing masks the entire class. Students will be a minimum of 6' apart with no shared materials, and will be asked to slip on a mask during any active singing. They may remove the mask in between singing activities (at least to start the year).
Uke 'n Play
Ages 6+ years
Ukulele is a great starter string instrument. It's the perfect size for younger arms, low-maintenance, and affordable. And it's simple, which leads to quick success for young learners.
A group Ukulele class provides a social element to music, and naturally helps motivate children (or adults!) to learn. It also provides an ensemble atmosphere that allows for a more sophisticated sound.
Enrollment is ongoing and you can join at any time, with any ability level. Beginners will focus mostly on learning chords while more advanced students will provide the melody and strumming patterns.
