What's included with the party?

  • 90 minutes of private use of the studio
  • Licensed Educators to guide the musical fun
  • 6-foot table for your food/cake
  • Child-sized seating for 12 kids
  • Additional seating for adults

What musical fun is planned for the kids?

Kids can expect to explore with lots of instruments – things like drums, shakers, bells, and more. Older kids may even get a chance to play some ukulele! All ages enjoy movement and dancing, including things like balls and hula hoops used in musical ways. What’s more? The parachute – it’s always a big favorite.

And remember – every activity is led by a trained teacher who is guiding the children through the fun!

What themes can I choose from?

Oh, the fun themes we have! You will be able to select one of these themes after booking your party:

  • Movin’ and Groovin’: All the musical fun! This is a non-specific character/theme that is simply all the instruments, movement, and merriment – our most-requested party theme!
  • The Royal Party: Think princesses and princes! Includes songs by some of the favorite, well-known royalty!
  • Rockin’ Rockstar: Great for older kids that really want to rock out! This includes a bit more movement, ukulele, and plenty of drums
  • Unicorn Dreams: Songs, activities, and movement all inspired by magical unicorns!
  • Trains, Planes, and Cars: Got a transportation lover? This is the party to choose. Hula Hoops become steering wheels, triangles become firetruck noises, and lots of movement is included (as well as a good night’s sleep!)
  • I’m ONE-derful: You got it. The best party around for the little ones turning ONE! Sweet songs and activities that are focused on our little musicians, using instruments and materials that are baby-safe.

How many kids can participate?

Parites are limited to 12 participating kids. Siblings count, unless they are much older and will be simply watching. Babies in carriers/car seats do not count.

Do parents have to stay?

Children ages 3 years and up may be dropped off. The party host must remain on site the entire length of the party. Children under 3 often need a caregiver participating with them.

When can I arrive?

The host family may arrive no more than 10 minutes prior to the start of the party to get set-up. Our fabulous team will be available to help with anything you need!

At the conclusion of the 90 minute party we ask that you gather your things and head out within 10 minutes as we may have another party about to begin!

What do my guests need to know before the party?

  • Children will remove their shoes for the duration of the party; adults do not need to remove their shoes.
  • Each guest needs to complete a simple online waiver in order to participate. It is best to do this ahead of time to maximize the time at the party. No one wants to have to wait to play!

Is tipping allowed?

    Many parents wonder about tipping. It’s never required, but always appreciated! If your Melody Magic party team makes your celebration extra special, you’re welcome to show your thanks. Tips can be given in cash or added to your credit card—whatever’s easiest for you!

     

    What should I bring to the party?

      Here are a few helpful things to remember:

      • Food and drinks – and cake!
      • CLOSED drink containers like water bottles or juice boxes (no open cups that easily spill)
      • Plates, forks, napkins
      • Cutting utensils
      • Candles
      • 6-foot rectangle tablecloth if you want something specific
      • Your camera!!

      Things that are not allowed:

      • No decorations may be taped/attached to any walls
      • Glitter is not allowed
      • We ask that you PLEASE not bring cake with black or dark red icing. It stains all surfaces as well as hands!

       

      What should I know about safety and rules?

        We always strive to keep everyone safe, and we often depend on the caregivers to help!

        • Running is not allowed.
        • Children under the age of 3 need an adult with them while they participate in activities.
        • Children may not leave the party room without an adult to guide them.

         

        What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

        We know the unexpected happens when children are involved. We do all we can to help you party like a rockstar:

        • You will receive a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours of booking.
        • After 48 hours you may reschedule for a different date with a $50 re-booking fee.

         

        Wonderful party!! If you are wondering if you should have a party here you absolutely should! The children had so much fun and loved the parachute part of the party as well as playing with all of the musical instruments. My little one loved getting his hand stamped at the end. They took care of all the cleanup too, all we had to do was bring our food and show up. All of the children loved it and slept great that night. Some even fell asleep on the way home.
