This May our students are invited to play in our annual Spring Recital. Performing is an important aspect of music education. It motivates students and builds their confidence by letting them shine. We are thrilled to be able to bring them this opportunity. And while our Winter Recital is a bit more “casual and festive”, our Spring Recital is a chance for them to dress nicely and play beautifully.

The recital will be held at Velocity Church, 3300 Church Road. It is only a few miles from the studio.

Here are all the details you need:

• • Recitals are May 18th and 19th.
  • For most students, you will pick the time that works for your family. HOWEVER, there are some groups that will be playing and we encourage you to try your best to sign up with your group at these times: 

• • 1. Intermediate Uke: Tuesday May 19th 7:00
    2. Storytellers Monday class: Monday, May 18th 5:00
    3. Storytellers Wednesday class: Monday, May 18th 7:00
    4. Storytellers Thursday classes: Tuesday, May 19th 5:00
    5. Storytellers Friday class: Tuesday, May 19th 7:00

• • Performing in this recital will be Private Lesson students, the Intermediate Ukulele Group, Keynotes Play Group Piano students, Advanced Piano Players Group Students, and Keynotes Storytellers Group Piano. (Little Keynotes and Beginning Uke can look forward to playing in the future!)
  • There will be no lessons or classes the week of recitals; the recital is in place of classes/lessons
  • Sign-ups must be complete by May 8th
  • You only need to sign up your student, not your guests. It is free for everyone and you may invite as many people as you want!
  • Each recital will be roughly 1 hour.
